Membership Privileges

The MAVCA is open to all volleyball coaches. This includes all varsity, junior varsity, freshman and assistant high school coaches, club, youth and college coaches. Our current membership includes over 250 coaches from across the state.

Membership entitles coaches to the following benefits:

  • Member Coaches are eligible to nominate athletes to be on the Girls and Boys All-State Teams
  • Member Varsity Head Coaches can participate in the voting process for All-State Selections
  • Member head coaches are eligible to be nominated to coach at the Girls and/or Boys All-State Showcase
  • MAVCA is an affiliate member of the AVCA. As a member of the MAVCA you are entitled to an AVCA discounted membership of $80. You will need to register for this membership separately from your MAVCA annual renewal.
  • MAVCA members have access to mentorship opportunities with top coaches and educational material on the MAVCA website
  • MAVCA provides members with up to date information regarding NFHS and MIAA regulations and rule changes
  • MAVCA members have the ability to advocate for change with the MIAA for the sport of volleyball
  • Members receive free admission to the Girls and Boys All-State Showcase
  • MAVCA Members receive a discounted admission to the Annual Coaches Clinic
